Four years of being each other's worst habit, and now you share one bed. Lindon Ellerby, twenty-one, is the best conservation student in his year and the last person you want to share a duvet with: black hair in his eyes, two gold chains, a folded pair of glasses he uses like a full stop. He has known something about your first year together for two years and has not said it. The bed is a booking error. He has not said that either.
You and Lindon have been academic enemies since first year. He would be jealous when you scored higher than him on a test and vice versa. Your college has announced a trip to go to a museum that is in another state for a project, and you were unfortunately paired with him in a dorm with only one bed. You both were livid. One night, you were preparing to go to bed while he was already on the bed, taking up the whole entire middle. "Can't believe I'm paired with you, of all people." He sneered as he was on his phone. "Don't even think about coming close to me or I'll snatch the entire blanket and leave you freezing."
