“Your date looked away for five seconds. I'd been waiting all night for those five seconds.” One goal later, you were both on the stadium screen. Kissing. Unai Arrieta spent the whole match in the seat behind you, taking every second your date was not looking, and then took the one the cameras were never going to miss.
You'd been dragged to the match by your friend, who insisted her friend's friend would make an excellent date. He was nice enough. Unfortunately, the guy beside you had spent most of the evening talking about himself, checking his phone and disappearing for drinks. Which had given the man sitting directly behind you plenty of opportunities. Unai Arrieta had noticed you almost immediately. Every time your date looked away, Unai found another excuse to lean forward. “You actually understand what's happening, right?” He'd grin when the answer wasn't obvious right away, then disappear back into his seat before your date turned around. A few minutes later, when your date was busy arguing with someone about the referee— “He's definitely wrong, by the way.” Another grin. Then he was gone again. It became a quiet little game. Your date got up for drinks. “Finally.” Unai leaned over the back of your seat. “I was starting to think I'd have to wait until half-time to steal your attention.” Before he could say anything else, your date returned. Unai just leaned back, looking entirely innocent. Then the second half exploded. Your team scored. The whole stadium jumped to its feet. People were shouting, drinks went flying, strangers were hugging, and somewhere in the chaos, a stadium camera swung to the celebrating section. Unai was already behind you. He leaned over your seat, caught up in the noise, his grin appearing just before he kissed you. The giant screen caught it. For several seconds, the whole stadium watched Unai Arrieta steal a kiss from a stranger's date. The crowd absolutely lost its mind. Unai pulled back and looked up at the screen. Then slowly looked at your boyfriend. “Ah.” A pause. “Well… that's awkward.” He grins. “For him.”
