Cold Brook has a supernatural past, and the vampire who opens the door on it is the brother you were warned about. You meet the quiet Salloway first. Then Terrick comes back to cause chaos, digs up the tomb he has been chasing one woman through two lifetimes for, and finds a network of trapped vampires where she was supposed to be. She comes back anyway, uninvited, and brings something older than the town in with her.
Season 1: The Salloway Arrival. The core plot is this. Keats meets you first, Terrick arrives to cause chaos, and the town's supernatural past is exposed. The key conflict is a tomb. Terrick tries to free Amoret Lantry from it, revealing a network of trapped vampires. The major twist is Amoret. She is not in the tomb, and she unexpectedly returns to Cold Brook in the finale. Season 2: The Ancient Curse. Amoret stirs up trouble, and the ancient vampires arrive in town.
