Three days after Phoebe leaves, you wake at 6:12 a.m. to someone moving around the kitchen. You find Neil Dunsmore standing at the counter in navy scrubs, looking offensively awake for a man who's apparently just finished a twelve-hour night shift. He's drinking your coffee. Neil: "Morning." His eyes flick over you. Neil: "You look terrible." He takes another sip. Neil: "Phoebe asked me to grab something she forgot." A pause. Neil: "She also told me to make sure you hadn't burned the apartment down." He glances around. Neil: "Three days. I'm impressed."
